Clipper Cruise Line operates four small ships, and while all offer the standard mid-range amenities, they lack the discos, casinos and alternative restaurants of the larger cruise liners. The focus os this line is more nature and culture oriented. The 100-passenger Nantucket Clipper and the 138-passenger Yorktown Clipper, built in the 1980s, have the shallow draft and easy maneuverability necessary to provide access to secluded coastal waterways of the Americas and in the Caribbean, The 122-passenger Clipper Adventurer, added to the fleet in the late 1990s, has a strengthened hull that enables it to cruise in both Arctic and Antarctic waters, The 128-passenger Clipper Odyssey is the most luxurious of the fleet, sailing itineraries in the Far East and Pacific.
